1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Security Partner ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App provides read-only access to Microsoft Graph and Microsoft Defender APIs to support security monitoring, compliance reporting, and operational insights. The App stores collected data for a maximum of 90 days.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or misuse the App.
  • Ensure that your use of the App does not violate any organizational policies or third-party agreements.

4. Data Collection and Use

The App collects metadata from Microsoft Graph and Defender APIs, including but not limited to:

  • User and device metadata
  • Security alerts and incidents

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with the App remain the property of DotStar or its licensors.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DotStar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Security Parnter is an application registered in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) that accesses Microsoft Graph and Microsoft Defender APIs with read-only permissions. The app is designed to enhance visibility and reporting for security and compliance purposes.

  • Security alerts and incident metadata from Microsoft Defender

All collected data is stored securely and retained for a maximum of 90 days. After this period, data is automatically deleted from our systems.
